Passion Project Challenge Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: August 30, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern enrollment in and participation in the Seretii Passion Project Challenge (“Program”), operated by Seretii LLC, doing business as Seretii (“Seretii,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms. If the participant is under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and authorize the participant’s enrollment.

1. Program Description

The Seretii Passion Project Lab is a four-week educational program designed to help students develop and launch a passion project.

The Program may include asynchronous lessons, live group sessions, project-building activities, community discussions, templates, resources, project feedback, peer interaction, recordings, and other educational materials or activities.

The specific schedule, curriculum, instructors, platforms, activities, and Program features may be reasonably modified when necessary to improve or operate the Program.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

Participants must be at least 13 years old at the start of the Program.

Participants under 18 may participate only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

If the participant is under 18, the parent or legal guardian approving enrollment represents that they have authority to provide such consent and agrees to these Terms on their own behalf and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, on behalf of the participant.

Seretii may request additional confirmation of age or parental/guardian consent when reasonably necessary.

3. Parent or Guardian Consent

For participants under 18, the parent or legal guardian:

(a) authorizes the student to participate in the Program;

(b) understands that the Program includes online educational activities and may include live group sessions and interaction with instructors and other student participants;

(c) consents to the student's use of the platforms reasonably necessary to participate in the Program, subject to those platforms’ applicable terms and privacy practices;

(d) acknowledges that the participant is responsible for following the Program's community and participation requirements; and

(e) confirms that the parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms and the Seretii Privacy Policy.

4. Educational Purpose and No Admissions Guarantee

The Program provides educational guidance, resources, feedback, and support related to developing and launching passion projects.

Seretii does not guarantee admission to any college or university, acceptance into any academic program, scholarships, awards, internships, employment, media coverage, revenue, fundraising, audience growth, recognition, or any other particular result.

Examples of previous student projects, outcomes, admissions results, testimonials, or success stories are provided for illustrative purposes only and do not guarantee that another participant will achieve the same or similar results.

College and university admissions decisions are made independently by those institutions and are outside Seretii's control.

5. Student Responsibility

Seretii provides guidance, instruction, feedback, tools, resources, and accountability. The participant remains responsible for creating, developing, and executing their own project.

Participants agree to make a good-faith effort to complete Program activities and submit work that accurately represents their own efforts.

Seretii does not complete projects, academic assignments, college applications, research, or other work on behalf of participants.

6. Time Commitment and Participation

Participants should expect to spend approximately 3–5 hours per week participating in Program activities and working on their projects, although actual time requirements will vary depending on the project.

Some Program activities may have deadlines or be required to qualify for the Launch Guarantee described below.

Live sessions may be scheduled at specific times. Because participants may join from different time zones, Seretii may provide recordings or approved asynchronous alternatives for certain sessions.

7. Community Standards

Participants are expected to help maintain a respectful, supportive, and safe learning environment.

Participants may not engage in harassment, bullying, threats, discrimination, sexually inappropriate conduct, intentional disruption, impersonation, unlawful activity, or other behavior that Seretii reasonably determines is harmful or inappropriate.

Participants may not share another participant's private information, messages, project materials, photographs, recordings, screenshots, or other private community content outside the Program without that person's permission.

Seretii may warn, restrict, suspend, or remove a participant for serious or repeated violations of these standards. Removal for misconduct does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.

8. Live Sessions and Recordings

Certain Program sessions may be recorded so participants can access educational material asynchronously.

Seretii will make reasonable efforts to inform participants when a session is being recorded.

Depending on the format of a session, recordings may capture participant names, voices, video, chat messages, questions, or project discussions.

Program recordings are provided for authorized Program participants and may not be copied, published, distributed, sold, publicly posted, or shared outside the Program without Seretii's written permission.

Where reasonably practicable, participants who do not wish to appear visually in recordings may participate with their cameras turned off.

Seretii's external promotional use of identifiable participant photos, videos, audio, testimonials, or project materials is governed separately by the optional marketing consent described below.

9. Student Projects and Intellectual Property

Participants retain ownership of the original projects and original materials they create during the Program, subject to any third-party rights incorporated into those projects.

By submitting project materials through the Program, participants grant Seretii a limited, non-exclusive license to access, store, display, reproduce, and otherwise use those materials as reasonably necessary to operate, administer, and deliver the Program.

This operational license does not transfer ownership of the participant's project to Seretii.

Use of identifiable participant projects or materials for external Seretii marketing or promotional purposes is subject to the optional marketing consent described in Section 11.

10. Seretii Materials and Intellectual Property

Program videos, lessons, curriculum, worksheets, templates, frameworks, presentations, graphics, branding, recordings, guides, written materials, and other materials created or provided by Seretii (“Seretii Materials”) are owned by Seretii or its applicable licensors.

Seretii Materials are provided for the participant's personal, non-commercial educational use.

Participants may not reproduce, resell, license, distribute, upload, publicly post, publish, or commercially exploit Seretii Materials without prior written permission from Seretii.

Participants may use templates and frameworks as intended to develop their own passion projects.

11. Project Showcase Consent

By participating in the Program, you grant Seretii permission to feature materials you voluntarily submit through the Program, including your first name, project name, project description, project screenshots, project results, testimonials, and other project materials, in Seretii's website, social media, emails, presentations, and other promotional or educational materials.

You may opt out of future promotional use at any time by emailing studyforyoubestie@gmail.com. Seretii will make reasonable efforts to stop new promotional uses after processing your request. Opting out will not affect your ability to participate in the Program.

12. Payment

The purchaser agrees to pay the Program price displayed at checkout.

If a payment plan is offered, selecting a payment plan does not create a cancel-anytime subscription. The purchaser remains responsible for the full Program price according to the payment schedule agreed to at checkout, except where a refund or cancellation right is required by applicable law or expressly provided under these Terms.

Failed or disputed payments may result in suspension of Program access while the payment issue is resolved.

13. Refund Policy

Except as expressly provided under the Seretii Launch Guarantee below or as otherwise required by applicable law, all Program sales are final and non-refundable.

Changing your mind, failing to participate, failing to complete assignments or milestones, scheduling conflicts, dissatisfaction with a particular project idea, or failure to achieve a desired admissions, financial, audience, or other outcome does not independently qualify for a refund.

14. Seretii Launch Guarantee

Seretii offers eligible participants a performance-based Launch Guarantee.

If a participant completes all requirements described below but does not launch an eligible passion project by the conclusion of the four-week Program, the purchaser may request a refund of Program tuition.

To qualify, the participant must:

(a) complete all required weekly milestones by their applicable deadlines;

(b) complete required asynchronous lessons and assignments;

(c) attend any sessions specifically designated as required or complete an approved asynchronous alternative when offered;

(d) submit required project work and progress updates;

(e) make reasonable, good-faith efforts to implement Program feedback;

(f) complete required real-world outreach, validation, testing, or other project activities applicable to their project;

(g) submit required final project materials and proof of their launch efforts by the Program deadline; and

(h) participate honestly and in good faith throughout the Program.

Missing or substantially failing to complete required Program work may make a participant ineligible for the Launch Guarantee.

15. What Counts as a Launch

Because passion projects take many forms, “launch” does not require a particular number of users, customers, followers, views, participants, dollars raised, media mentions, or other metric.

A project will generally be considered launched when the participant has created and meaningfully released, published, conducted, distributed, presented, tested, implemented, or otherwise put a substantive first version of the project into the real world or in front of its intended audience.

Examples may include publishing a website or resource, conducting research or interviews, releasing content, testing a prototype, running an event, beginning a community initiative, launching a product or service, starting a campaign, or otherwise putting a substantive project into action.

Seretii may reasonably evaluate whether the participant has completed an eligible launch based on the nature of the individual project.

16. Requesting a Refund Under the Launch Guarantee

Launch Guarantee refund requests must be submitted to studyforyoubestie@gmail.com within 7 calendar days following the official end date of the Program.

For participants under 18, Seretii may require the request to be submitted or confirmed by the purchaser, parent, or legal guardian.

The request should include:

  • Participant's full name;

  • Purchaser's name and email address;

  • A request for review under the Seretii Launch Guarantee; and

  • Any information reasonably requested by Seretii to verify eligibility.

Seretii may review milestone submissions, attendance records, assignments, project materials, progress updates, and other relevant Program records to determine eligibility.

If approved, the eligible refund will be returned to the original payment method, subject to normal payment-processing timelines.

The Launch Guarantee does not cover failure to achieve a particular college admission, scholarship, audience size, financial result, level of project impact, or other outcome beyond launching an eligible passion project.

Fraudulent submissions, falsified participation, misrepresentation, intentional failure to complete requirements, or other abuse of the Launch Guarantee may result in denial of a claim.

17. Third-Party Platforms

Seretii may use third-party platforms to provide payment processing, community features, video conferencing, course delivery, email communications, or other Program functionality.

Participants may be required to create or use accounts with these services and may also be subject to those services' own terms and privacy policies.

Seretii is not responsible for temporary outages, service interruptions, or actions of independent third-party providers outside Seretii's reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

18. Personal Information

Seretii may collect personal information reasonably necessary to enroll participants, operate the Program, communicate with participants and their parents or guardians, provide Program services, process payments, maintain the safety and integrity of the Program, and comply with legal obligations.

Seretii may use third-party service providers to operate portions of the Program, including payment processing, course/community hosting, video conferencing, email, and related services.

Questions or requests regarding personal information may be submitted to studyforyoubestie@gmail.com.

19. Program Changes

Seretii may make reasonable changes to Program scheduling, instructors, platforms, lesson order, live-session times, curriculum, or other Program details when reasonably necessary to operate or improve the Program.

If Seretii cancels the Program entirely and does not provide a substantially comparable replacement, affected purchasers will receive an appropriate refund as required by applicable law and Seretii's applicable policies.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Seretii will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the Program.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

21. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable consumer protection or other laws require otherwise.

22. Changes to These Terms

Seretii may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes affecting an active Program may be communicated to participants or purchasers as appropriate.

The version accepted at enrollment will govern the participant's enrollment except where changes are required by law or mutually agreed.
